1. Huntrite 360º Swivel Hunting Blind Chair

Highlight: Designed for ultimate comfort, agility, and support, allowing you to focus solely on the hunt.

Helpful Review: “I ordered two of these to modify to make Jon boat swivel seats. I cut and filed away the legs and installed some heavy duty pipe/conduit brackets on the boats bench seats. This was one of the sturdiest and cheapest methods requiring the least amount of modifications i could find.

I like they use a standard boat seat swivel. I also like that the base is also the same width and length as the seat frame itself which means it won’t tip like the other bolt on bench seat swivel adapters they sell for $20 (plus another $20 to $100 for seats depending on style and quality). These seem very sturdy and solid. I sat in them to try out before cutting the legs away and they seem very sturdy and solid. Heavier than expected which is not a bad thing. The seat itself if fairly comfortable, more comfortable than expected.

The back rest is not padded that well but it does give back support but I will be adding additional padding for comfort in the back rest. Swivel is smooth and quiet. Also, just want to mention I read in the questions that someone asked if the seat covers can come off for cleaning or padding replacement and someone answered no they don’t. Well, I’m not sure if they changed the design or if this person just was not aware but YES you can remove the seat cover.

It’s velcroed on around the steel frame, undo velcro, unbolt seat and they slip right off. I think these are going to work great in my Jon boat with mentioned modifications. Sometimes you got to think outside the box. Hope my review can help someone else in a similar dilemma that I was in, it’s been a challenge finding something reasonably priced and sturdy.” -Maya

Few Words From My Friend:

Pros:
-quiet
-comfortable
-reasonable portable
-good bang for your buck

Cons:
-heavy
-poor quality clips
-2/4 feet will sink in soft ground

Overall this chair is probably the best bang for your buck compared to other products I looked at. The size is decent and it is very comfortable. It does not fold up super small and isn’t light, so if you have a long hike to your stand it can be cumbersome (unless you plan on leaving it in your blind). The way it comes to carry it is just a nylon strap so I can see it banging around against trees/brush or your other gear when walking in. It does have a coating/paint on it which seems pretty good and would dampen some of the noise.

It would still be louder than if it had carry straps similar to a backpack. The strap clip broke before I even had a chance to take it to the woods which was probably a good thing. The last point of criticism is the legs. Only 2 of the 4 legs have a bigger base to reduce the legs sinking into the ground.

This was something mentioned in other reviews so I planned on just welding some base plates on the other two legs, so unless you have a plan for the legs or are hunting on a sturdy surface I would pick a different chair. Despite all of these critiques, I would still recommend the product as it is much more affordable for the quality of the actual chair. It seems sturdy, built with good materials, and comfortable.” -Sam

Trending Review: “A little on the heavy side, yet easily carried with the over the shoulder strap, this chair folded up nicely and was very quiet as advertised. The swivel seat is a must when hunting in a blind with at least a 90 degree view in 2 sides.

The back legs have wide articulating feet that swivel nicely on a ball-joint that kept the legs from sinking into soft ground, this is were most of your weight will be over – the back two legs – , yet I still wish it had these on all 4 legs as the front feet still sunk into the ground a little when swiveling more than 90 degree’s in either direction, as well as when leaning forward on it.

I did not see a better chair on the internet. I give this chair an A- since it mostly measured up to the ad, yet I thought it could use a couple design improvements to make it exceptional.” -Jeff T.

2. BOG Low Profile Turkey Ground Blind Chair

Highlight: Deploys quietly to prevent unnecessary noise while setting up.

Helpful Review: “This chair is a bit heavy to carry into the woods, but it is solid and makes sitting still a whole lot easier for me while turkey hunting. It has a good shoulder strap for carrying and it has a little clip that holds the chair together and quiet when folded up. Would recommend if you have trouble staying comfortable and still on the foam pads while hunting from the ground.” -Sam

Trending Review: “Chair was easy to set up and pack away. Clipped to back pack to transport in to woods. I normally can’t sit in folding chairs, but this chair was very comfortable. I’m very happy with this purchase. 4 hour hunt and chair was perfect.” -Ernest Jean

Critical Review: “NOT aluminum frame as listed. Steel tubing frame thus the extra weight I was not expecting. Heavier than I’d like to shoulder in and out the woods every trip. Overall seems sturdy, hope so b/c its steel. Comfortable sitting. The corners of fabric have sewed in slips, make sure the frame tubing ends are slipped into them in all 4 corners of seat/back material before sitting. Remove aluminum frame description, it’s false advertising and was the driving factor for me purchasing this product.” -Jpizzle

Few Words From My Uncle: “Really comfortable for sitting long periods of time. Gets you far enough off the ground where you are not loosing heat. Sucks to add more weight backpacking in but worth it for long periods of sitting.” -David Thurm

3. Browning Strutter Camo Turkey Hunting Chair

Highlight: Perfect low-profile hunting blind chair for long sits hunting turkey and other game

Helpful Review: “I don’t hunt turkeys at all, in fact, but I gobble at them when I see them on the levee and they gobble back. The closest I’ve gotten to a turkey in this chair is Wild Turkey — and by gosh the chair holds up. It’s easy to open and set up, easy to close and pack, and supports my 165 lbs without trouble. This chair is the exact same as the REI Camp Stowaway Low Chair except it costs ten bucks less, is camo instead of black, and has a Browning stag logo embroidered on the back instead of an REI logo.

I’m an REI member, but personally? I prefer the Browning stag logo and love not spending the extra ten bucks — and although it’s camo, I can always find it where I left it. It is totally comfortable, dries almost immediately if you get it wet and sits about six inches off the ground. In my opinion, it’s THE PERFECT camp chair for those of us who are low to the ground — or like to sit low to the ground.

Ideal for canoe camping. The feet pivot which makes this chair idea for slightly uneven terrain — and also allows you to rock back onto the rear legs — sort of like those fancy pants ultralight camp chairs that cost 90 bucks and fall apart the fifth time you use them… except heavier (it’s not that heavy but it’s not made for backpacking)… so it’s ideal for sitting around a campfire emptying pressurized canisters of lager.

The case is a 26 x 6 inch tube with an adjustable (non-removable) shoulder strap and drawstring closure. The folded chair is not difficult to fit into the case.

The chair also has its own adjustable (removable) shoulder strap — which seems weird — too many shoulder straps or whatever — but the folded chair has a velcro retaining strap attached via rivet which keeps it from flopping open if you carry it by it’s own removable shoulder strap and decide to not use the case. Problem being: The case keeps the thing from getting scratched up and I like cases — and because it’s so low to the ground, the removable shoulder strap pretty much just lives in the dirt… which is bad design.

So I removed the removable shoulder strap from the chair and never looked back. But then, I’m a wild (turkey) man. I love this chair.” -Teeni

Trending Review: “I have turkey hunted w another chair exactly like this I bought locally about 4-5 years ago. I am 6’2” and about 245 lbs. it has never failed. Although other chairs have. I first bought the chair mainly for the higher quality carry strap vs all and I mean all others I have found. While there is a primos chair w the same strap the connection to the chair is weaker. I had problems w the strength if competing chairs straps. I hint hard15 full days a year.

I take others w me and so I bought another chair for friends to use. It is or rather can be very quite. But it is A metal frame so some care has to be take to not bump if your close. On a slow day I can comfortably sit in the chair for hours. And I have back problems but the angle let’s me stretch out and lean. I gave my size and the regular chair is plenty big for me. My brother is a few inches taller and weighs about 270 and he finds it just right. I think the larger version may be prohibitive in the turkey woods.

I saw a question about hills. That’s about the only limitation of this chair. It is reclined so too much of an angle forward and you will be siting straight up. If your facing up hill you better have a tree behind you so you don’t go over backwards. But kicking out small holes in the dirt for either the front or back legs makes it work well on terrain as long as it isn’t too steep. I would like to see connections like bungee on the back of the chair to keep it from falling off the metal upright posts that hold the seat back. But it’s easy to put in if it fell off in walking around.

I would want to know these facts so I write. But truthfully I’m afraid it will bring me further competition if turkey hunters knew how comfortable these chairs are for this sport vs your vest and a tree. Setup is lengthened about 30sec to put the chair down and open it. But keeps you still for extremely long periods when it usually counts.” -Jason

My Nephew’s Review: “Most comfortable seat in the turkey woods! I spend about 20 days a year in the spring turkey woods and hardly ever sit right next to the shooter. Our set up almost always works to call the bird pass the shooter which allows me to be tucked back in the bushes someplace and sit comfortably to call. I would never ever go to the woods without this chair. Ridiculously comfortable, well-made and quiet to carry.” -Jamie

4. Barronett Blinds 360 Deluxe Wide Chair

Highlight: Legs detach easily from seat and fold down for easy transport.

Helpful Review: “Seems to be good quality. I am 6’2″ and weigh 220 lbs, and it’s important to me that this chair be able to handle some abuse. Plenty big enough for me to sit comfortably with several layers of clothes, including an insulated parka and pants. I would have given 5 stars, but I haven’t used it when hunting, so I don’t know is easy or difficult to set up. I think it will easy, but only time will tell. I don’t know if I will be able to update this review later, but I’ll try.” -Jim M.

Critical Review: “Chair is a nice size and pretty comfortable. Might be ok in an insulated tower blind with windows closed but it is way to loud for ground blind bow hunting. Can creak badly when swiveling or repositioning yourself. This creaking gets progressively worse the colder it is.

The fabric moves over the top backrest rail when you lean forward and backwards making a loud noise. I did remedy this by cutting an old t-shirt and placing it between the fabric and frame.” -Shaad

My Friend’s Review: “Perfect chair for my shooting house…..can make a day of it now. Very comfortable and adjustable for the perfect shot.” -DocT65

Additional Review: ” I wanted a larger swivel hunting chair that will accommodate my wearing waders in a wet duck boat. Chair meets the comfort standard but is very noisy. Considering it’s brand new.” -Scott Dinger

5. KEMIMOTO 360 Degree Silent Swivel Blind Hunting Chair

Highlight: Assembled by an extremely sturdy steel bracket.

Helpful Review: “It helps to know the basics on the reviewer to determine if the product meets similar individual needs. I’m a 60 year old, 5’10” female who loves to deer hunt with a rifle, mainly from a ground box blind or a covered tripod.

Like most hunters, finding the right chair that is adjustable, quiet and, most of all, comfortable is as elusive as that trophy buck. After too much research, I chose the Kemimoto for its adjustability, decent reviews and reasonable price (higher than others but less than the top brand we all know).

It arrived timely with 2 day prime, boxed in good condition and well packed inside. It comes with 1) adjustable base legs, 2) seat with attached base hardware, 3) armrest with 4 each of bolts, plastic spacers and nuts to attach arms to chair. Also a carry strap. Instructions and assembly were basic and easily accomplished by myself. My purpose is to leave it in my box blind. It’s weight and bulkiness is not suited for pack in hunting.

Living room try out. The seat can be adjusted for height by hinge pin. The 4 legs can be independently adjusted and the feet can be flipped for various ground conditions. The seat has decent lumbar support. The back could be taller, shoulder level would be an improvement. The seats outward extention appears short, being tall, I would prefer the seat extend slightly further out toward the knees . The armrest is low, my elbows don’t rest by 2″. They are narrow, made of metal, no padding, and are short (dont extend out enough). You are unable to lay your rifle across them and it would be noisey if you could.

All that aside, it sits decent and is quiet. I prefer a more slightly reclined position but that is easily resolved by raising the front feet slightly higher than the back. It feels sturdy, appears well made and the swivel tension is good, no free spinning.

I’m giving it 4 stairs as its design seems geared to short to average heights. Final judgement will be determined when rifle season opens in a few weeks. The long sit comfort test and if it remains quiet and smooth. Will update as necessary.” -DW

Trending Review: “Wow, this is an amazing swivel hunting blind chair. The chair is very easy to assemble, adjustable, and portable. The chair is quick to set up when you get to your hunting blind. I was completely surprised at how quiet the chair is when swiveling it around. You can set this chair on unlevel ground, and the legs will adjust to level the chair out and keep it from tipping over with you. You can adjust the height of the chair.

The chair is very comfortable, quiet, quick to set-up, and fold-up, portable, very sturdy, and has armrest which is a great addition to the chair that makes it that much more comfortable when sitting in a hunting blind. The chair can be used for many outdoor activities other than in a hunting blind.

It is light and easy to pack around. I will use this chair in my hunting blinds, and I will even take it when I go fishing. This chair is made of great quality, and I believe this chair will last a long time if taken care of. Great thought-out chair all around, I highly recommend this chair, and would definitely purchase it again.” -Barbara K.

Reassuring Review: “This hunting chair from Kemimoto is incredibly easy to assemble, lightweight, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Swiveling the chair requires a feather touch and it completely fluid, which offers excellent control of turning speed and accuracy to minimize unnecessary motion when out in the blind. Add in the fact that the chair has armrests, and you have a comfortable and reliable setup all around!

Additionally, all four legs on the chair telescope, which permits the chair to be leveled on irregular surfaces. This serves to increase the consistently of the chair’s functionality, providing a “set it and forget it” approach to getting this chair where you need it. That all but eliminates the need to fumble around and try to get the chair situated during the hunt… and less noise = better odds in the field.

From a quality and durability perspective, Kemimoto’s hunting chair checks all of the boxes. This chair is built to last outdoor use for several years with proper care. As a result, it earns 5/5 stars for being a superior product that lives up to its claims!” -Caleb Meinke

6. Hawk Big Denali Luxury Blind Chair

Highlight: Extra-wide & extra-comfortable – for those looking for some extra space.

Helpful Review: “This chair is awesome, I have had several chairs over the years for my ground blinds . This chair told the cake . It’s nice and wide I’m a 260 pound man and can set in this chair for 4 hrs and still be comfortable.

It was a lil tough to put together but it just takes a heavy duty screwdriver to pry apart the back rest to put the braces in but with just a lil common sense it’s pretty easy. Came just as advertised and I would suggest it to anyone looking for hours of setting and being comfortable” -Samuel Fendley

Trending Review: “This is a very nice chair. I purchased for the size and for the capacity I am 6’4” and 275 I have more than enough room and it’s sturdy enough for more than what I weigh it should last. It’s fairly comfortable. You can adjust each leg independently to one of three settings I may drill more holes to give myself more options but it sits level in my spot on a slight slope.

It is heavy and bulky. You aren’t going to pack it to a different spot all the time. Not a negative for me though.
It’s was a bit of a bear to put together you may need an extra set of hands to not bang it up putting the lateral seat braces in. It is not silent. Unfortunately I’m sitting in my blind right now and as I swivel it is noisy. If I consiously center my weight slightly forward it will swivel quietly. Hopefully the deer wont hear it either.” -James

Additional Review: “Sturdy good quality chair. Most reviews expressed installing the two back seat bars were very hard. I agree. I did find a trick to make it simple for 1 person to install them. Get a 1×1 inch piece of wood about 1 inch longer than one of the bars.

Put it across the seat material and in between the sides of the rear seat frame and tap it to spread the frame out enough to get the bars into place. Only other problem with the chair are the armrests. Very cheap cushion material is split and coming apart within two days of light usage.” -MSS

My Friend’s Review: “This is a comfortable chair that I can sit in for hours arthritis and all. It rotates silently but a bit stiff. I really have learned to like the that because it is also steady when it is time to aim. My only problem is the squirrels love the arm padding. They have completely destroyed one side and I have put hot sauce on the other. Hopefully, it will survive but I have not found replacement padding as yet.” -Carl A.

7. TR 360 Degree Swivel Hunting Chair

Highlight: Instant assembling with just four screws, ensuring hassle-free setup for your hunting expeditions.

Helpful Review: “I got this seat for deer hunting so I can move from place to place with ease, and be comfortable when I get there. The seat itself is pretty comfortable. The construction is very good and strong. The fact that there are pins to hold it together, however, can create a noisy situation. Probably ok for bird hunting, but definitely not for deer.

First, the main support tube slides into the bottom tube and will make noise when you shift your weight. I solved this by pulling the tube out and wrapping the end with one wrap of electrical tape and sliding it back in. This takes up the extra space, and makes a snug fit.

At the top, I replaced the pin with a 1/4 in stainless steel bolt and torqued it down nicely. Now it is very solid, comfortable, and even quiet. Definitely a nice, lightweight, and portable seat, and is a good choice, even if I had to do a couple modifications.” -BrianD

Trending Review: “This TR 360 Degree Swivel Hunting Chair is a very sturdy and big. It will definitely fit a larger hunter very well. I am 5’11” and am not small. However, this chair makes me feel kind of small because of the generous size of the seat. The folding, expandable base is very sturdy. Even with the legs fully extended out. I really like that you can extend each leg to the length needed so putting this on uneven ground would not be an issue.

The seat seems pretty comfortable but I wish the back was a little higher. The seat is 21.5″ from the ground which I found a little too high. The hunting chair was adjusted to the lowest level and the legs were not extended at all. The height of my kitchen chairs (which are a good height for me) are about 19″ off the floor.

If you are less than 5’10” this may be too tall for your comfort. This chair is sitting outside right now because there was a somewhat strong odor coming from the chair. I am hoping to air it out enough to put in my tree stand. The chair made no noise what-so-ever. Silent as a mouse. There is a carrying strap but you should probably remove the legs which isn’t hard but it is a bit of a hassle Overall, if you are a big person this chair could be a really nice chair for you.” -Mark Kraus

Few Words From A Helper: “Completely impressed with this hunting chair. I’ve been using the little tripod stools the last couple years, and this is a game changer in terms of comfort. It came in three parts. Four hex head bolts to attach the pole base, then drop it into the legs.

Note: four, not three; extremely stable. And two legs is adjustable, so you can set the chair level on unlevel ground. The price gives a little concern, but the chair is solid, and well built. It shows a weight limit of 225 lbs. which is surprising to me given the size of the frame. This chair is seriously comfortable. Just in time for deer season.” -W. B. Smith

8. ARROWHEAD OUTDOOR 360° Degree Swivel Hunting Chair Stool Seat

Highlight: Extra wide feet to prevent sinking in dirt, mud, and bogs.

Helpful Review: ” Totally love this thing! It’s so compact but still entirely capable! I’m about 225 and 6’2” and I haven’t felt like this thing has ever skipped a beat in the many times I’ve used it! It’s just ideal for camping and even though it’s smaller, the swivel adds so much more value that I’ve just been super impressed with it!

It feels sturdy even with my larger size and the locking mechanism of the base is perfect for keeping me feeling comfortable and secure while turning or even leaning over a bit!

Setup is very simple – just open and step on the lower bar to lock into place – when you’re done, just lift and collapse the lock rods and voila! – I’ve kept it lubed up with a little bit of spray on grease and haven’t had any issues even with it getting an little wet! – Definitely happy with this little chair and would certainly recommend it! 11/10 a win!” -Monte

Trending Review: “It folds easily. This product is being used for fishing and camping trips. So far, I’ve had no issues setting up and putting this swivel chair away. I was looking for something that folds small, feels comfortable and is easy to travel around with and this chair was good except it was heavy. If you’re traveling not too far from commute it’s really not a bad product.

When we go fishing, the fishing area is not far from our transportation so it’s doable. But if you’re traveling far, it might be uncomfortable to carry around. It definitely makes it easier to have a swivel chair than standing the entire time. The chair itself, doesn’t feel too uncomfortable and has held over approximately 250 pounds so far with no problem.” -Jazz

Additional Review: “When I first saw the chair seat size, it was smaller than my expectations. The seat seemed a bit narrow and uncomfortable for me because I was hanging off. This chair is great if you have a smaller frame or want to use it for holding something.

The fabric seems durable, but I had some difficulty opening up the chair because it didn’t come with instructions. I figured out I had to put in some strength when separating the legs. It also squeaks while moving around; however, these noises aren’t too bad since they don’t frequently happen (maybe two out of five times). I also like how it’s lightweight and portable, making it perfect for carrying during long walks.” -Venus

Reassuring Review: “I was really surprised at the weight of this chair. It is super lightweight which will definitely make it easy to pack around. There is no assembly of course so all you gotta do is open it up and sit down. One of my complaints is this is super small.

I was I guess expecting this to be regular size after looking at the price. My other complaint is the seat. It’s not the most comfortable chair mainly because it feels like your sitting half way on something. It’s hard to adjust. I do like how it swivels though. I figure I’m just going to use this chair for fishing. It will definitely be easy to pack in with my gear.” -Jeremy Klinebriel

9. Earth Products Ultimate Camp Chair for Adults

Highlight: Supports healthy back and body posture, providing hours of added neck and back support.

Helpful Review: “This is the best chair I love purchased yet. I used it for deer hunting in the snow to fishing at the lake this past year. Stayed firm, and comfy. The front legs adjust nicely, same as the back. You can be on a slight incline or decline and still be able to sit up properly. My wife loves sitting in it at the house around our fire pit because it’s so comfy. We will be purchasing another one soon.

Only bad thing about it, it’s pretty bulky. But you have to compromise somewhere. The bulk truly isn’t any reason why you should not buy this chair. It’s amazing!” -Josh Blanding

Trending Review: “My ultimate fishing chair came this morning! Easy to open and adjust and so comfortable! I haven’t put my rod holder on yet but it looks straight forward as does the carry strap . I love the cushion and head rest and feel as if I could take a good nap in it when in the reclining position. I also think that it will be great at looking at the night sky too. As to fishing I’m not sure it will increase my skills but I will be comfortable!” -James Hawlk

Reassuring Review: “We purchased two of these chairs and they are excellent. We can’t wait to try them out at the beach. It’s very comfortable and has great support. I must say there was a slight mistake in the shipping address, I called Earth Products and talked to Roy. He immediately called the shipper, made the correction and the chairs were delivered that afternoon. Great chair and great customer service. I highly recommend the chair and Earth Products.” -Mike

Additional Review: “The perfect char, indoors or out. I have ALS and can rarely, if ever find relief or even comfort. I ordered this chair because of the description, it sounded like a good find. I have been using it inside for perfect comfort, it’s adjustable to lean back just enough, the fit is great! I thank you so very much for the relief you have given me!!” -D. Lichtenstein

10. EVER ADVANCED 360° Silent Swivel Hunting Chair for Blinds

Highlight: The strong and sturdy adjustable 4 legs base with large swivel feet.

Helpful Review: “I am a folk fiddler who attends a lot of outdoor jam sessions. I need a chair without arms, and one that can be adjusted to sit level on unlevel ground. Also, I need to sit up straight. Chairs with a ‘lazy’ back that leaves you leaning back when you sit back into it make playing the fiddle difficult.

This chair is absolutely perfect. The back is straight, which keeps me sitting up straight while I play. And best of all, this is by far the most comfortable jamming chair I’ve ever tried.

The only downside is that it’s big and heavy, though the effective shoulder strap helps a lot, and leaves both hands free to carry instruments. I wouldn’t want to carry it far, but that’s a small price to pay for a chair that is otherwise perfect.” -Timothy Masters

Trending Review: “**UPDATE** It was VERY comfortable to sit in this season. My back and hips didn’t hurt after hours of sitting. The only gripe I have is once it met the freezing temps, it did NOT swivel silently. It squeaked like no other unless you were balanced perfectly on it. If that post on the bottom of the seat and the plastic the post goes into on the legs met at any point, it sounds like a car door that hasn’t been oiled in 20 years. I was meaning to take some WD-40 and oil it up to see if that took care of the problem but luckily I only had to sit for one day and tagged out. I may set it up and see if I can get it to squeak again and then try that to see if the problem persists or is fixed.

This chair is what I’ve been needing so I can sit longer in the blind. Prior to purchasing this chair, I’ve been using a little folding chair that came with my ground blind or a bucket which after a while your hips start to ache and you have to get up for a bit to stretch out. So this chair should counter that aching.

Also the assembling was fairly easy. Although I wasn’t sent the allen wrench needed for the screws, luckily I have a couple sets around, it went together pretty smooth. The functioning of it is exactly as stated. Quiet rotation and feels very sturdy. I got the ones with the arm rests because sometimes I like to lean to one side and get comfy. Those are very nice and I like that they are adjustable as well just like the legs.

I warn other ground blind users of this though. Most ground blind windows have a final height of around 4ft or just under, I’d say. I’m 6ft and my eyes are just below the very tops of the windows with the legs all the way in. I’m going to have to dig the legs in a little ways so I can sit lower for my eyes to have more of a view.” -REZIAK

Reassuring Review: “Bought this for hunting in blind chair for my husband. It is so comfortable. Swivel is quiet. Be prepared to heft sturdy chair. His only complaint is heavy. So if you are hauling a deer, your equipment best purchase a cart. Hauling chair long distance is hard to do.Not giving it up. Investing in a cart. So comfortable for back support with quiet swivel.” -Anna Marie Mullins
